The Struggle: Freshman Curriculum
The goal of this curriculum is to equip students with the essential tools needed to successfully transition from middle school to high school. Students will be fully engaged and immersed in understanding the critical role they play as freshmen, while developing the mindset and skills necessary for long-term success.
Through a structured and intentional approach, students are guided to build a strong foundation in personal development, accountability, and academic readiness.
Driving Change Sophomore Curriculum
This curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills and mindset necessary to become agents of change in their own lives and communities. Students will critically examine their ethics, values, and belief systems, identifying which traits to strengthen, adopt, or release in order to achieve personal and academic success.
Through guided discussions and practical application, students will develop a deeper understanding of the various internal and external factors that influence decision-making and life choices.
Concepts include, but not limited to:
- The impact of parenting, peers, and society on perceptions and values
- Transitioning from childhood to adolescence
- The benefits of positive affirmation, self-talk, and reflecting on past successes
- Effective methods of conflict resolution
- Understanding how attitude and behavior directly influence performance
Defining Success
Junior Curriculum
This curriculum focuses on developing students into emerging leaders who can effectively communicate, influence, and positively impact their peers. Students will explore the key qualities that support leadership, peer mediation, and effective communication, while also learning how to model behaviors that leave a lasting legacy for underclassmen to follow.
Through structured modules and real-world application, students will strengthen their ability to lead with purpose, navigate challenges, and prepare for future success.
